Community classes

How and why we incorporate food into our lives, our work, our practice, and our mission has everything to do with the health and wellbeing of ourselves, our organizations, our communities, and the planet. My unique experience in public health and the food industry helps me imagine how to connect these often disparate worlds into learning opportunities. I will work together with you/your team to co-create an experience that makes sense. Food and cooking are at the heart of what I create.

 

Institutional Advising

Even if your institution’s purpose is to prepare and/or serve food, often those responsible for the food are under prepared and in need of skills, ideas, and the resources to make changes. I have spent over half my career in the food and farming community, building networks, unearthing resources, and honing the tools necessary to procure and prepare food that is healthy for both those you are feeding and for the environment and truly represents a thoughtful, responsible, and creative institution.

 

Coaching

Sometimes we just need a little tweak, sometimes we need an overhaul, usually it’s somewhere in the middle. I love listening to people, answering those nagging questions about food, nutrition, and cooking that can make the difference between losing your motivation and finding new excitement in preparing something fresh and seasonal. The goal is to find that sweet spot where you are enjoying yourself, nourishing your body, feeding your soul, and taking care of the earth.
